Simon Parsons
Simon began his career with Mobil Oil Co. Ltd in the purchasing department before progressing to roles at Mobil Purchasing Europe, Foster Wheeler Petroleum Development, and The M. W. Kellogg Company, all based in the London area.
In 1990, he joined Abbey Industrial Sales Co. Ltd, working alongside respected industry figures Edward Etherington, Colin Tombs and Ken Furlonger. In 2000, Simon acquired the company, continuing its development with the benefit of extensive industry experience.

Founded in 1964 by Edward Etherington, the company began trading from Victoria Street in London, close to Westminster Abbey. Edward worked alongside his father, Edward Etherington Snr., Simon’s grandfather, and together they were prominent figures in the industry throughout the 1970s and 1980s. In 2000, Ted retired and the business was proudly passed on to Simon, who continues its legacy today.

Simon is an active member of the Heat Transfer Society and the Oil Industries Club, and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Fuellers. He also serves as Chair of the Energy Circle at the National Liberal Club. Abbey Industrial Sales is a company member of the Gas Processors Association.
